Massart Gardens, Belgium
Designer: Kacsen
The Jean Massart Botanical Gardens commissioned us to produce signage and educational information media in an elegant and sustainable design.
Named after its founder, the gardens were created in 1922 by Jean Massart, reknown nature advocate and professor of Botany at the ULB (Free University of Brussels).
The gardens were designed by landscape architect Jules Buyssens. With some 2,000 plant species, it's one of the richest botanical gardens in Belgium and a real living museum. The garden is an open-air laboratory for studying how plants can make cities healthier and more sustainable.
